Delivery automation

Docker, Kubernetes when warranted, Terraform, GitHub Actions, and comparable CI/CD platforms. Infrastructure as code and repeatable pipelines reduce manual configuration and release drift.

Discuss your project

A release is a sequence of evidence

Gate 1

Build

Create a traceable artifact from reviewed source.

Gate 2

Verify

Run checks for the behavior being changed.

Gate 3

Promote

Move the approved artifact through environments.

Gate 4

Observe

Confirm health and business operation after rollout.

Automating deployment should reduce uncertainty about what was released and how to recover. Use the same artifact across environments where practical, keep configuration explicit, and make failed steps visible.

Plan the moment a release goes wrong

Application rollback ≠ data rollback

An older application may not understand a changed schema. Plan compatibility between versions before applying migrations.

  • Record the artifact and configuration in use.
  • Define the health checks that stop or reverse a rollout.
  • Test the recovery path with the intended schema changes.
  • Assign who decides to continue, roll back, or correct forward.
Does every product need Kubernetes?

No. Choose the deployment model that meets workload and operating requirements. A simpler managed runtime can be appropriate when container orchestration would add work without a clear benefit.
