An AI product needs a clear user task, useful feedback, and a way to recover when the system gets something wrong. Blake Technologies combines product design and software engineering to define that experience. We start with a narrow outcome, test the uncertain parts, and build the surrounding application that makes the capability useful. A prototype and a production release have different acceptance requirements.

We help businesses turn an internal software idea or customer-facing product into a scoped AI development project. Examples include service-report assistants, customer portals, and operational planning tools. For private equity-backed companies, an MVP can test a specific value-creation hypothesis before committing to wider integration or a rollout across the portfolio.

Two distinct questions

Prototype: is the idea useful?

Test the uncertain user and technical assumptions with a small, representative workflow.

Release: is the product ready?

Verify identity, integration, recovery, operating costs, and the support plan.

The path through product delivery

01

Product definition

Identify the intended user, the decision or task being supported, and the evidence that would demonstrate a worthwhile improvement.

02

Prototype evaluation

Test representative inputs, observe how users interpret results, and compare model approaches before committing to a larger build.

03

Production delivery

Add authentication, billing or usage limits where needed, observability, integration tests, deployment procedures, and operational ownership.

Make review part of the interaction

A useful distinction

How do you decide what belongs in an MVP?

We select the smallest usable workflow that tests the main business and technical assumptions. Important controls are part of that workflow. Features that do not help answer the first release question can wait for later evidence.

Your engagement outputs

  • A scoped product brief and user journey
  • A validated prototype or initial release as agreed
  • Acceptance criteria and a production delivery backlog

Scope, schedule, team, and support are agreed for the engagement.
